It brightens the mind and direct the spirit to walk on the right path."These golden word of Gurudev Maharaj inspired Swamiji.It was a long process of 12 year under Gurudev Jis guidance when Swamiji had learnt vedas,read vivid religious paths and versed himself in Sanskrit ,and after this long process of attainment of truth, Swamiji answered himself a question he had put before Gurudev amongst all the present religious paths,which is the best and the most correct one and the answer laid in the fact that only education can motivate your spirit to decide all that is right . Swami Ji also noticed how well Gurudev ji motivated people to read and write. Weather an 80 year old man or a 50 year old women,Gurudev was always ready to teach them Education of illiteracy was his utlimate goal.
In today’s competitive environment, the need to provide a meaningful education to a large number of children, desirous of growing into educated and liberated human beings has been fulfilled by Shri Swami Ji Maharaj.
"His holiness" Shri Swami Vishwatmanand Saraswati Ji Maharaj is the great sanskrit scholar, a saint with divine power , a reformer and a preacher in a true sense, moving from place to place on foot to convey his life. Shri Swami ji is a Mahatma in a true sense, working meticulously for the last 25 years for the uplifttment of the mankind. He is a true philanthropist who is also been working for the education. He has set up not only an ASHRAM in Sunderbani but also has set up a number of educational institutions apart from Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya for mental upliftment of the ignorant and illiterate masses'. Through the educational institution, his holiness, Shri Swami Ji endeavors to broaden the mental horizon of the people of the region, irrespective of the caste, colour and creed. Shri Swami ji left his family for the sacred cause. His native place in the lap of kalidar hills, 78 kms. from Jammu and 75 kms. from Rajouri. His Ashram at Sunderbani speaks of his aesthetic sense and the spiritual bliss he enjoys.
The School was established by his Holiness Shri Swami Ji Maharaj in 1999. This school is situated at the foothills of the evergreen kalidhar range in upper Bhajwal area. The school is affiliated with Central Board of School Education, New Delhi. Medical, Non-Medical and Arts are the courses taught here. Over the past 25 years, Shri Guru Gang Devi Ji Model Higher Secondary Model School has flourished into a comprehensive educational institution, offering a spectrum of academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities aimed at holistic development.
